Ever start a day knowing everything you want to do, but in reality you know you'll do none of it. Do you feel yourself falling for the wrong person and no matter how much you try denying or hiding the feelings you have you know in your heart that what your refusing to believe is only the truth. Do open your eyes and see the light which is covered by a picture perfect image of them. Is it that person your thinking about that makes you breathe in so deep when they breathe out, as if you're hoping to hold something they had inside?

Have you ever woken up and not known where you were or what your reason was for being alive for another day, yet in your stomach you know that there is more what this world could show or offer you.

Why is it we are so ridiculously intent on pleasing the people who dislike us the most? It's funny how I seem to have wasted a lot of my life trying to accomplish this seemingly impossible task. I've always tried to be someone I was never meant to be and tried to fit into a mould this world created and assumed I would fit in to.

//Through all this all I've felt is myself bleeding through your eyes, and let it pour out through my skin.//

Being a teenager has become a stage set-up for misery. Everyone's either going out of their way to fit into a label, or forcing themselves not to, which are you? either way you seem to end up following someone or something - not doing something because its become to "mainstream" or doing something because it is. - either way you loose, your still in a label.

//Have you ever hurt so bad you wished you could pull your guts out from the inside; instead you end up throwing it out through your mouth.//

After you've perfected your image to the point where you said you would finally be happy you still stare at yourself with a sneer of disgust. Do you cut your wrists, Run off your pain till your blue in the face or just regurgitate every ounce of hatred into lyrical form and post it up for everyone to see.

//"We were meant to live for so much more." These lyrics ring through my head as if burnt onto some sort of incoherent plaque that I can't locate//

Our world consistently gets flipped upside down and turned inside out until we feel so completely empty that we loose all sense of who we are. So I give you this advice from C.S. Lewis that never fails to inspire me.
